Blake Fisher Scyocurka, MSW, LICSW
I am a behavioral therapist and neurofeedback practitioner who specializes in the clinical treatment of children and families. I am an independently licensed and insured clinical social worker who has been in private practice for four years following six years employment with the Child Guidance Clinic, a division of Behavioral Health Network. I work primarily with children, ages two through nineteen, providing a combination of behavioral therapy and neurofeedback training that has proven to support emotional regulation and symptom reduction. Though the majority of my clinical practice is with children, I consult closely with the parent or guardian and work with adults as well.
I specialize in the treatment of attachment disorder and developmental trauma disorder. In addition I have a number of clients who present with symptoms consistent with anxiety and attention deficit disorder, frequently exhibited through systemic disregulation and low self-esteem.
I am a 2000 graduate of Simmons College School for Social Work and completed my training in the clinical practice of neurofeedback in July of 2001. Though I offer both psychotherapy and neurofeedback separately, I have found that the integration of both has had the deepest and most enduring results.
I have offices in Ludlow and Northampton with handicapped and public transportation accessible in the Northampton site.
